About

Living a Life of Truth first began as a blogspot blog to keep family and close friends informed during a rough and uncertain time in Jessie’s life involving an ever increasing health problem that was beginning to ruin the high school experience for the fun loving sixteen year old.

LaLoT’s title was taken from Bread of Stone’s track titled “Life of Truth”, a song that in early 2010 marked the new found faith Jessie found in God and thought that the title would fit well as she worked through the tough times she was experiencing.

In LaLoT’s life, the blog has been a place where Jessie has worked through the emotions and stresses of having her right hip replaced in Febuary of 2011 as well as discovering herself through her faith in God. LaLot has experienced the wrath of senior year of high school including a musical,  NaNoWriMo, applying and the accepting of a college as well as the general fun and heartbreaking pains that one endures while growing up.

In 2012 LaLoT was moved to Wordpress where Jessie found her spark for writing all over again.  In the past year, LaLoT has endured graudating from high school and her first semester of college.  Through her writing she has found a way to relax and enjoy her free time when she's not bound to the library with homework.

Welcoming 2013 into her life, Jessie moved LaLoT back to Blogger where she feels at home once again and has enjoyed being able to work on her blog without too many problems.

Jessie has been fortunate to have a strong support system in her life, including family, friends and the blogsphere. She normally spends her time reading for her history classes or researching green ideas for her sustainability classes.  Other than focusing on her school work, Jessie enjoys going on walks with her friends, photography, fishing and spending time at the shooting range.

Currently, Jessie is starting her spring semester of her first year in college, eagerly awaiting the summer when she can begin her internship at a museum in Wichita as well as teach children's theatre.  The easiest way to contact Jessie is through her e-mail.
